Daisy already has a wardrobe!

Everyone who knows Natalie knows that from the day she was born she has been a true GIRLY GIRL (she blames me! YES, I did have a bow in her hair when she was only 5 minutes old)! If anyone deserved to have a baby girl to dress up, it's Natalie! I'm so thankful she is having a  BABY GIRL!  She loves pink and rhinestones and crowns and leopard print and  jewels and of course,SHOES!! She's a fashionista! She's a BLING QUEEN! That is why soooooooo glad she is having a baby girl! HER baby girl will wear all the latest fashions! Forget traditional baby girl clothes--! DAISY KATHERINE will come out of the delivery room with a crown on and leopard print shoes on! If you don't believe me, well, just check out the pictures! YEP! DAISY already has a pair of ZEBRA print booties! hahahahaha

PIRATES! ARGHHHHH! That's the theme of Kemp's new room! His room is adorable! THey painted the ceiling blue and the walls beige. It is just PRECIOUS! I love his new bunkbed/shelves combo! It's just precious! "AHOY MATES! Shiver me timbers!"

Lily having a special b'day at GranJan's

We decided to wait to give our FAIRY Princess Lily her presents until , selfishly, I could have her total attention with just ME, to our prezzies! So, since I kept her yesterday, I gave her all the rest of her presents! (of course, I sent a few to the pool on Sunday, but wanted to give her the rest by myself!) She was sooooooo good yesterday, I hardly knew she was there! (she now ACTS like a 3 year old! So, after her rest time, I pulled out the presents! SHe was soooooooo excited! A Disney Princess Box filled with dress up clothes and shoes (when she wasn't looking, I sneaked a few out to keep here!); clothes (which she LOVES! had to immediately put on the dress Cutie had given her!); BOOKS; DVD's; her CINDERELLA costume (that Kadie told me not to DARE give her until the week of Halloween! HAHA) and of course, odds and ends! She came walking in yesterday with her new baby doll (it's adorable) from Nonna and Also a PRINCESS doll I got for MIMI to give her (she went "WOW!"). She kept telling me about her new dolls, "you have to be VERRRRRRRRRRRRY careful with them!" So funny! We also gave her a Cindrella Table and chairs set but I took that by her house on Saturday. I think you can tell that we know our little Lily is surely a PRINCESS!

P.S. Of COURSE, our little DAISY will be a princess too! How do I know? Because there is a FAIRY DAISY princess in Lily's new Fairy book! HOW FUNNY IS THAT?! JON, get ready! HAHA! For a million pictures; Katie being the GODZILLA BRIDE! HAHA! Sunday morning, Jon and Katie went to Clanton to tell his dad, Keith; his step mom, Sandy and his step sister, Kristen --the news and show off the ring! They were so excited! When they got back I had decorated the dining room table. My tradition for whatever occaision there is! HA! Then, yesterday, Katie (wearing her new shirt Natalie had ordered for her that said "FUTURE MRS> CULLEN"!) went to ask Susan, her best friend, to be her bridesmaid. (Pix were made at LARA---with Susan and Lara!--). She wrote a cute poem and took her a "Bridesmaid" shirt. Susan was soooooooo funny! Of course, Katie's only other bridesmaid is Natalie. Since the wedding will be on the beach, no sense having tons of people traisping thro, the SAND?! ha! Katie is on CLOUD NINE and hasn't stopped grinning yet. And neither has JON!

Lily Clair Fry--3 years old today!

What's sweeter than a little 3 year old GIRL? NOTHING (well, o.k., boys,  are of course, sweet too but TODAY, I'm talking Pink Girly girls!)! Our SWEET little girl is 3 today! How much FUN it was buying Disney Princess stuff and PINK and girly girl things! She is soooooooooooooooo soooooooooooo girly! Of course, our little princess won't wear ANYTHING but dresses and loves PINK ("I love PINK, GranJan, do you?"). She loves her dolls; loves jewelry; loves make up! She is a, well, TYPICAL girl! I think Michael is just the perfect Daddy of a little girl and he thinks the sum rises and sets with his! (we do , too!) I'm soooooooo happy (and THANKFUL!)Natalie will have a little girl, too. (Who is as girly as NATALIE FRY HORNE? Well, O.K., KATIE FRY! HA!). It's sooooooo much fun to play girl stuff when Lily's around. AND, yes, as everyone knows , little boys hold my heart, but I must admit, I DO SO LOVE little girls, too! How lucky, no , blessed am I?! To have BOTH to love!  ( LUCKY/BLESSED me: 3 boys 2 girls of my own and grands: 1 boy* 1 girl and 1 boy coming and 1 girl coming! ) WOW! Life can't get better than this!

Princess Lily's 3rd birthday!

Today was Lily's 3rd birthday party and we celebrated @ Old Overton Country Club Pool. We celebrated, not only LILY'S birthday, but her Great Aunt Mary Margaret's birthday too! (Actually, today is Mary Margaret's birthday and Lily's is tomorrow but we celebrated both at once today!!!!). Mary M. loved her gifts ( SCRAPBOOKING STUFF!!!!!!!!!!)and Lily loved her BELLE Doll that Aunt Mary Margaret and Frank got for her as well as  KEMP got a special prezzie, too from Aunt M.M.!  What fun  the party was! Kadie made all the children little visors with their names on them! Adorable! The kids were all GREAT and swam and played and ate cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches and swam some more! Of course, CUTIE, was the star attraction with her new glittering ring! Natalie bought her the CUTEST shirt that says, "SOON TO BE MRS. CULLEN" in rhinestones! It is PRECIOUS!.......Michael, of course, was like a BIG KID playing in the pool! Jumping off the diving board which reminded me of when he was a kid at EASTSIDE POOL in Roebuck so many years ago! He still acts the same!! Annoying the girls by SPLASHING them! HAHAHAHA.....We gave Lily some of her gifts today  but most of them we are giving her on Tuesday when I keep her. I want to see her face when she gets that huge box of dress up clothes and her special PRINCESS doll from MIMI............HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO MY SWEET LITTLE ANGEL! I LOVE YOU, LILY BELLE---so so SO much! (Happy Birthday, to YOU, too, Mary Margaret, too! Love you ,2~~ and can't wait to go on our trip to St. Louis together!)

It's OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jon is now Katie's FIANCE'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Jon POPPED the QUESTION at STAR LAKE in Hoover about an hour ago!  (funny sidenote: Katie said she saw BATS flying around her head as he was proposing! HAHA! I guess you could say she went BATTY! HAHAHAHA!).....YES , THEY ARE ENGAGED!  "FINALLY!", as her siblings ALL said when they called them after they got in tonight! She called them, one after the other, and heard them all scream with excitement!!!!! We are thrilled to death and it looks like the WEDDING , (at the WATERCOLOR  INN in Destin!) will be most likely, Sept or Oct. of 2008! So.........lots of planning and exciting events to come in the next year!!!! HURRAH HURRAH! WE LOVE YOU JON AND KATIE & are ALL so excited !

More Destin Pix

As before mentioned, Katie spent her 22 b'day at the beach this year! Not a bad prezzie from dear old dad!I decorated best I could , I had to hide all that b'day decorations in suitcases as well as gifts! She got some darling things! New shoes/shirt and necklace from Natalie; a new big jewelry Box from us (had to wait till she got home to get that one!); a CROWN necklace; clothes, etc. JON had to go back to school before her b'day but is taking her out tonight for a belated b'day dinner.......More pix from us romping on the beach and NIGHT TIME CRABBING (which was the highlight for Kemp!) and Katie's b'day cake and gifts. Watercolor is such a BEAUTIFUL place and we had so much fun there. Hope to go back in the Springtime, for SURE!

ReLiving the beach

 

I love these night time beach hotos! I made them several times while we were gone! For one thing, it's so BRIGHT during the day you often times don't get the unusual shots of the beach you can get during the night shots! I love these! This was our first night there. Terry bought Kemp a light stick at Lowe's before we came down ---SMART! I love the way the light stick appears in the photos! Spooky! HAHA! I love the one where Terry stuck it in his mouth! Looks like he's smoking some weird stuff! But, I promise, it's a LIGHT STICK! HAHAHA! I also love the ones of KT and Jon on the beach and the ones of Kemp with the light stick with his CRABBY shirt on! SO CUTE

Home again! :(

WOW, how in the world can I even begin to add all the great pix from this past week? Well, I'll just have to put them in for several days! We had a blast, it sure was hard to go home! Kemp was the FUNNIEST about going home! He got sooooooooooo mad and said, "I don't WANT to leave the Beach House, Big T!" He pouted for a good 30 minutes after we left! I told him I understood completely! HAHA! We had sooooooo much fun and Katie's b'day dinner was INCREDIBLE! Check out the steak she had! (I had the same thing!). Unbelievable..........after dinner we took Kemp to "THE TRACK". OH MY GOSH! I don't know who had more fun. Uncle Pat Pat; Big T or KEMP!(those pix later). Also,I have some great ones of Big T; Pat and Kemp "Crabbing" a couple of nights at the beach.......Oh well, back to same-o/same-o! Back to DULLSVILLE Birmingham!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATIE!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our BABY GIRL! Katie is 22 years OLD today! It's 8 A.M. and I had decorated the table here at the condo and when she walked in she was so excited! Started off the GIFT GIVING with a leopard skin purse! More gifts as the day goes on! ....We have a busy day planned and will end up at the VINTAGE wine resturant for din din! THE greatest place to eat here! It's kind of a SECRET place, it's small and intimate and OH so delicious! Just wish the whole family could be here as well as JON! (this morning Kemp said, "I miss Jon Jon!")k Then, Katie and I are going to the outlets while Terry, Patrick, Natalie and KEMP go to THE TRACK! It's already so HOT and sunny I can't stay out here much longer, but it's the only place to get connection service!..........We're having a ball. Wish we could stay another WEEK, at least!Kemp just walked out here eating Golden Grahams in his little jammie top and pull ups and rosy cheeks and said, "it's CUTIE'S birthday, did you know it, GranJan?"

pool day!

Today was just plain AWESOME. It was THE most relaxing day I've had in a quite  a while! we got to the pool early and stayed there ALL day. Around lunchtime, Pat came over. We all had fun playing in the pool. I've NEVER stayed in the pool that long, even when we HAD a pool! it was just so hot and the water so warm and I laid on a float most of the day. Around 3, Jon had to go back to Auburn. We were all sad he had to go back, but he has an early class tomorrow so he had to go back ! (He made it back safely, he already called ). Pat had to wash some clothes at home, then he is coming back here to hang with us tonight. We're all exhausted from a long POOL day, except Kemp/Nat who had a long, well deserved nap here while we drank some Pina coladas poolside. THEN, Terry made even BETTER ones for us here. Natalie is getting ready to watch BIG BROTHER and Katie is painting her nails and BIG T is playing trains with Kemp! I'm enjoying having my tan (it only takes a day, no brag just fact! HAHA). Wish I could post all the pix from the last 2 days but our internet connection just won't allow it. It's SLOW going. Like I said, we have a balcony overlooking WATERCOLOR and Starbucks, so more than likely we're getting our feed from there.Right this minute, we are sitting out here. What do I see? I see cyclists riding by; people walking with their families---sunburnt noses and shoulders! Everyone seems happy and content, like me! The cobblestone street is cool, in WATERCOLOR colors, and I ilove the cool lamp posts that have holes so that when they are on, they put out the coolest light!There is a GREAT BREEZE (something we hardly ever get in the 'Ham at this time oof year!) and it's just lovely with the sun going down. We are soooooooooo enjoying our time here! As far as computer stuff goes, About all I can do is check e-mails and type on my journal.......I DON"T WANT TO GO HOME! Do I have to???????????????? TOMORROW we will probably do a little shopping and hopefully, meet up with Diane and her family! OH! And we ate at THE BACK PORCH last night! I almost felt teary eyed as I soooooooooo remember how DADDY loved going there and I remember going there over Spring Break when they went down with us one year! Daddy loved getting those fish sandwiches from there! It was cool going back there and remembering ...............!

We're here! Katie and I are sitting on the balcony people watching after a nice dip in the gulf of Mexico! Well, UNTIL I got slammed with tentacles from a jelly fish! I have huge whelps all over my legs! JON and I were the lucky ones to get stung! YIKES! Thankfully, Nat brought along some Benadryl cream and my whelps feel better! the iwater is GORGEOUS as is this place we're staying. Check out www.watercolorvacations.com if you want to see where we are!! Kemp has had a blast. Last night we took him "crabbing" and it was so much fun. He is having a BALL! We just talked to Brad---he is busy finishing up Kemp's new bedroom. We wish he were here with us, too! Pat gets off at 8 and he is coming tonight. Of course, Kemp won't do ANYTHING without JON JON. He is OBSESSED with Jon! (I hope BIG T doesn't get his feelings hurt!HA). Talked to charles last night but the connection wasn't too good. Charles, if you're reading this, sorry about that! ..........Natalie looks so cute with her DAISY BELLY poking out. I bet Daisy likes swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, too! (only after the JELLY FISH episode none of us want to get back in there)> ! Oh well, at least there is the GORGEOUS pool. Actually, we rented chairs on the beach for the next week so we'll at least go and play in the sand and get those rays!.......Monday we are going to meet up with Diane Baker and her crew.........HAVING A BALL. May not come home!!!! Since I'm using Katie's laptop (thanks to internet service across the street at Starbucks ! HAHA), I don't know how to do anything but print. Can't add pix yet.......more later!

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Ooops, I mean, don't hate me because I'm going to the beach! HAHAHAHAHA! Yes, just think about what I'll be doing!!!! At WATERCOLOR INN (that in itself a paradise!); LESS crowded beaches b/c all the bratty kids are in school; PINA COLADAS (sorry Nat, yours have to be virgin ones); maybe a massage; SHOPPING the outlets; SHOPPING at "Hugs and Hissy Fits!"; hanging out with Diane and her group; hanging with Pat Pat; being with MY GIRLS; being with Kemp; being with TERRY (NO GOLF!); swimming in that awesome pool; drinking PINA COLADAS poolside! You get the picture? WANNA COME ALONG?

P.S. Now these are REPEAT photos (duh! Obviously), but, we'll be doing the same things! BTW,I post my pix here , on my journal pages, instead of flooding your e-mails with tons of pix you might not want to see! So, here, you can look if you want or DELETE if you want to!
