God Speed, Dr. Money

Since 1972, when we had our first baby boy, Charles, Charlie Money was our pediatrician and friend.  He went on to be our pediatrician  from 1972-1990 for all 5 of the Fry kids!  (I think I even taught HIM a little  about breastfeeding! HAHAHAHA).I was so sad to hear that he has passed away this morning. He is loved by many and besides being a friend of our whole family, I also found out 2 of my other friends, from Hoover, knew him well, too!!! (It's such a SMALL WORLD!.).... Patti Lucas went on mission trips with him to Kenya (see picture below) and another friend, Yvette Heath, was in a Gardening group with him (and as the only guy in the group!), he called the girls: CHARLIE'S ANGELS!(sounds just like him!). Both Patti and Yvette told me stories about him and how much he meant to them, too.........I love both the picture I have above (that's baby PATRICK FRY and I scanned the picture right out of Pat's baby book!) and the one  Patti sent, below, where it looks like he is PRAISING GOD!.....He will be missed by many! Here is an e-mail from Patti that she sent me this afternoon, the bottom part from the mission host on one of the trips to Kenya.......

A memorial service for Dr. Charlie Money will be held Friday, June 1st at 6:00pm in the sanctuary.  Dr. Money passed away early this morning.

Please continue to be in prayer for Barbara, Andrea, David and the  granddaughters, Anna Claire and Brooke.  Today is Brooke's 5th birthday.

This is from Steve Kabachia, our mission host in Kenya:

Thank you for keeping us informed on the condition of Dr.Money. Our prayers for his healing were answered in that he is now in the presence of God completely healed and whole.
Kindly pass our heartfelt condolences to his family. Our prayer is that He will give them strength and peace. Dr.Money was a true soldier of the Lord and he touched our lives deeply here in Kenya.

This picture was made as our mission team was driving through Kakamega, Kenya.  Charlie raised his arms and shouted "Praise the Lord!"
