My name is Don Heacock.
Donnie and I were classmates
in Civil Engineering at
Auburn. Additionally, my
wife Janice and I lived down
the street from Donnie and
Becky at Holiday Mobile
Estates (or trailer park, to
be more accurate). Although
Janice and I had not seen
Donnie and Becky in many
years, their names and the
old memories would come up in
conversation every so often.
Janice and I were saddened to
learn of Becky's illness and
death. We got the word from
one of Janice's cousins,
whose brother was also our
engineering classmate. While
searching the Internet for
information, I found your
journal. I really
appreciated having the chance
to see the pictures of both
of them and to learn more
about Becky's fight the last
several years.
I will be contacting Donnie
shortly to extend our
sympathies. Meanwhile, thank
you for all you have done.
